358 Enhancer MkII is the second generation of MIA’s single-stage, straight-path enhancer. It controls the balance of the low, mid-low, mid-high and high frequencies on the master or on individual tracks, from slight to drastic correction.

358 Enhancer analogue detector

Why the 358

  • Not a conventional EQ: internal multiband phase processing gives a more dynamic, realistic frequency content
  • The mix drives the boost: a sidechain detection stage based on the analogue envelope detector lets the mix lift its own content according to its dynamics
  • Round, solid lows to sparkling highs: solid subs, punchy low-mids, rich high-mids and sensational highs
  • Simple and flexible: four main controls for the boost, with crossovers tunable from the classic 150 Hz, 400 Hz and 2.4 kHz defaults
